I found this place perfect for my needs, comfortable and cozy lodging, super clean cleanliness, and nice staff. The double capsule was surprisingly spacious, and we loved the nice common areas. Great location, just a short walk to museums. Can't wait to return 😊

This Hotel is a small but very good located and cosy place. And the fact that it's not in the very shoping district gives more plus to the Heemskerk Hotel as it is quite calm by night. It is just 100meters from Van Goge museum and some 250m from the Voldenpark. If you'd like to go for a boat trip - it's close again. The Hotel's stuff is very nice and give helpful advice. Their breackfast is very nice - with their own freshly baked bread, fruit salad, fresh coffee etc.-mmmm!!!

services and breakfast were great!!!!!!!! We stayed in smallest double bed room, but it was just enough with small and sweet bathroom, everything very clean. Room had balcony watching the gardens and everything was in amsterdam-kind-of way, small and sweet but very tidy with excellent service. The owner of the hotel was helpful by giving us advices, always smiled and cheerful and taking care by himself of every guest in the hotel.

The capsules offered surprisingly roomy comfort, with controllable mood LED lighting and a fragrant, cozy ambiance. The bathrooms were immaculate, complete with robes and toiletries.
Temperature control could be improved.

The room was large and incredible with an air conditioning, an electronic key card and a private entrance available. The breakfast was marvellous and included. The staff was extremely friendly, solved all problems we had. Location: the hotel was very close to the Museumplein, the Vondelpark and the excellent choices of restaurants and bars, the tram station and the stop for the express bus to/from the airport and museums, shops and transport🙂

The staff were extremely nice.
The rooms are incredibly small, barely larger than the bed itself, everything looks shabby and grimy, as if the room hadn't been properly cleaned and refurbished in a century. The window was about as large as a laptop and the bed wasn't very well made. Also, there is no elevator and the breakfast is not included in the price. There is nothing unbearable about it, but the price (we paid 150 euros in total for a double room) should be about half of what it is in order to make it worth the money.

I was shocked by the inconvenience of having to trek to the second floor for toilets, very poor planning. Smacking my head on that broken dish hanging from the ceiling was genuinely amusing, how does one overlook that? I can't believe i didn't get a complimentary upgrade for such chaos. Would've been a decent stay otherwise, but just couldn't recommend it.

The staff were excellent. We enjoyed our stay very much. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. The breakfast was excellent albeit expensive. The location was great for sightseeing. The staff recommended great restaurants. I would stay again.
The breakfast was expensive. The room was very clean but a little beat up. The wallpaper was ripping off the wall in places. However, it was easy to overlook these issues because of the great service.

A truly lovely, cozy hotel in a location central to the museum district. Very quiet, on a side street in neighborhood. Very interesting Amsterdam School architecture and design. Perhaps most important: the owner and staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and engaging. Full of useful information about things to do in Amsterdam. My wife and I were delighted with our hosts and with our stay in general.
Rooms are a bit small, but this is typical for Amsterdam hotels.

The beds were comfortable, that's a big deal for me you know. The location was excellent, walking distance to the museums, couldn't ask for more.
It wasn't dirt cheap but acceptable for the experience we got.

The owners (Norman and Sonia) were absolutely awesome, from check-in till check-out. Very knowledgable about area and always willing to give advise. Hotel is located behind the Concertgebouw and walking distance to the museums. Several tram and bus stops within 1 minute walk from hotel. Hotel is very small, less than 10 rooms, but offered well decorated rooms and very good breakfast. Amsterdam rooms can be small, the triple room we booked was very spacious and comfortable. We will definately stay again!

Best asset is the hotel owner, Norman, who is a very nice person an helped us with ideas on what to do for a 3-days we in A-dam. The hotel is very well situated, with access to both airport and basically in the city center, with instant access to 2 tram lines. Good idea that they have tickets for the main museums in the city (we saved at least 2-3 hours only for van Gogh...). There may be other good things to say, but these are only a few. A very good hotel and a very pleasant stay, eventough we had a small room - but we knew exactly what we will get from the picture of the room at the reservation stage. The room had a very nice ceiling window and the perfect tv for the room dimension.
